The women hating anime watchers

why do they feel the need to women who watch anime on their anime knowledge?

Recently, on the fourth of March, the 7th annual Crunchyroll Anime Awards took place. They were held in Tokyo Japan and the beloved female rapper and avid anime enjoyer, Megan Thee Stallion was asked to present the Anime Of The Year award. Miss Stallion was rocking a lovely black and white dress, referencing the character Bruno Bucciarati from "Jojo's Bizarre Adventure", Megan seem very exited to present this award.

The uproar began on the app formerly known as Twitter (now X), when other fellow anime fans seemed distraught that the American rapper would present such a prestigious award. These "anime fans" began questioning if she was even a "real" anime fan, which seems wild because when did people start questioning the validity of people's interests? It seems that they had not realised the Miss Stallion had always been an avid anime fan and had even publicly discussed it and she has also cosplayed many anime characters n the past. It seems that these "anime fans" find it hard that a woman like Megan Thee Stallion could enjoy such a thing (anime).

Weirdly enough "anime fans" weren't the only people coming at Megan for her interests, Nicki Minaj fans also seemed to join this rally against miss Megan as per ongoing beef between them. But they (Barbz) instead tried to equate their favourite rapper appropriating East-Asian culture to Megan Thee Stallion's anime watching and cosplays. Which is wild, far-fetched even.

In conclusion, I think since these "anime fans" were bullied in the past for their interest in anime and the fact that anime has gotten more main-stream in recent years, that they feel that it was unfair for them to be treated the way they were back then, and they want to inflict the same pain on newer anime watchers in an attempt to accept these noobs as "real anime fans". I Just think quizing people on their interests is just weird asf. Just let people enjoy whatever they want, as long as they're not hurting anyone or as long as their actions aren't going to affect others in a negative way. Life is TOO short to be doing this shi.
